This page contains information on how to create an effective DFMEA Cross Functional Team (CFT), how to collect pre-work for faster DFMEA development, how to develop an efficient DFMEA path, how to determine recommended actions as soon as possible and how to link the design verification plan and report (DVP&R) and design reviews to FMEA outputs. All of this information can be used to uncover design risk, which includes possible failure, degradation of performance and potential hazards.

This event will provide a unique opportunity to learn the value and proper use of the five Core Tools in one dynamic course. This event will cover:

FMEA – Failure Mode and Effects Analysis

APQP – Advanced Product Quality Planning

PPAP – Production Part Approval Process

MSA – Measurement Systems Analysis

SPC – Statistical Process Control

The Core Tools are the foundation of an organization’s product and process quality assurance activity. Intelligent Core Tool use improves both product and process quality levels. This course clarifies the linkage between the Core Tools, specifically useful for continuous improvement and registration of quality management systems. Participants will acquire the skills and understanding to utilize the Core Tools immediately upon return to their organizations.
