Environmental Quality

As individuals, each of us is reminded daily of our impact on the environment. Corporations are under even more scrutiny and tighter restriction in an effort to meet the evolving ‘green’ requirements. Many tools available to companies today focus on quality, but few support organizations have incorporated the environmental factor into the daily tools of design and development activities of their clients. Research into the EPA websites has allowed us to incorporate unique qualifiers for specialized environmental risk assessment. Subsequent conveyance of those risk factors into additional quality tools result in special environmentally motivated controls that may have been previously overlooked. Our approach has:

  • Incorporated ‘Green Risk’ based analysis into the standard FMEA tool creating a multifaceted approach to quality
  • Assure the transfer of ‘Green Risk’ considerations into production and control activities for conformance.
  • Managed the cost, not only of manufacturing a ‘Greener’ product, but reduced the cost of environmental impacts by addressing those considerations early on in the product, process, and package design of that product
  • Integrated Environmental requirements into Quality Operating Systems
  • Development of Prevention strategies to protect the environment where hazardous materials are present.
  • Impact of spills and the development of processes and procedures to contain them as soon as possible.
