This five-day workshop meets the training requirements for RAB Lead Auditor Certification, and includes a focus on understanding the current QS-9000 and TS 16949 Automotive Quality Management System audit requirements. The workshop content includes managing quality system audits (system and compliance), audit phases, understanding, interpreting and auditing, using ISO 10011 - Guideline to Auditing Quality Systems. The training provides an understanding and interpretation of the ISO 9001 standard and an in-depth comprehension of the audit process. This course includes the mandatory evening workshops using lectures, workshops, role playing, case studies, quizzes and team-based exercises. Each individual is required to write and pass a two-hour examination in order to complete the course. At the completion of this workshop, students will be able to: Manage the audit process; Prepare for first, second and third party audits; Conduct first, second and third party audits; Report on first, second and third party audits; Close out first, second and third party audits; and Perform follow up audits to assess correction action taken to address non-conformances (NC).
