Special Affiliation: QAI
Duration: 1d / 8h
Color Code:
The participant will learn about robust design through the use of reliability engineering methods. These methods are a means of determining the probability that a product will perform its intended function in a satisfactory manner for a specified period of time when operating under specified conditions. Participants will learn of reliability indicators such as: Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Failure Rates, Warranty Data Analysis and analytical tools such as Weibull Analysis and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA). These indicators and techniques can be utilized to establish and monitor reliability goals.
